Garmin Sponsors Ötillö Swimrun World Series
Garmin is excited to sponsor another year of one of the world’s premiere endurance events, the Ötillö Swimrun World Series. The first Ötillö race in Europe will be hosted in Croatia on April 2nd and will be a qualifier to ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship. The Island of Hvar is now one of the new destinations for the Ötillö Swimrun World Series, guaranteed to be a beautiful race.
Ötillö, which means “island to island” in Swedish, was first envisioned near the Stockholm archipelago, where there is a series of some 30,000 islands that begin just a few minutes away from the city of Stockholm. Swimming from island to island, and running as well, teams of two compete against each other for the fastest times.
Ötillö has given the sport of swimrun the international attention it deserves and it’s now expanding to the U.S. and more. For more information on Ötillö, you can visit their site here.
Looking to compete? Well equip yourself with one of our fenix GPS multisport watches, the only watch that features a Swimrun profile for the real Ötillö enthusiast. Don’t forget to share with us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram using #HaveNoLimits.
