Garmin Receives Prestigious Marine Awards
Every year, most major trade shows and boat shows present awards for exemplary products and innovation. These shows have started up once again in the marine world and we've been honored to be selected for some of these prestigious awards.
Newport International Boat Show:
In mid-September, the Newport International Boat Show named our Glass Cockpit Series with Volvo Penta as Best New Boating Product. Newport distinguishes industry-bests for sailboats, powerboats and electronics.
International Boatbuilders' Exhibition and Conference (IBEX):
At IBEX this year, Volvo Penta/Garmin won again with the Volvo Penta Glass Cockpit series. The IBEX Innovation awards recognize and acknowledge the importance of technological advancement and is one of the marine industry's premier awards.
NMEA Conference & Expo:
The NMEA Conference only wrapped up a couple of weeks ago and we were given the NMEA Autopilot Product Award for our GHP 20 Autopilot System w/ Smart Pump. NMEA is widely respected throughout the boating community and we were proud to receive this award for our autopilot system.
