Garmin Leads Global Navigation Market
A new report from Canalys shows Garmin as the leader in the worldwide portable GPS market for the second quarter of 2007! With more than 1.85 million units shipped worldwide, Garmin earned the number one spot against the leading competitors. As the market doubled, up 116 percent to last year’s second quarter, more than 7.4 million mobile navigation devices were shipped during this quarter, with personal navigation devices making up 90 percent of that figure.
