Garmin Launch Landing at CeBIT

Garminmobile Streetpilotc550 Nuvi360 We warned you yesterday we’d have some news from the CeBIT trade show in Hannover, Germany… and we didn’t lie.  We’re introducing the StreetPilot c500 series — which has some great new features like Bluetooth hands-free calling, MP3 player, and an optional integrated traffic receiver.  We’re also updating our cutting-edge nuvi with the same Bluetooth hands-free calling feature.  In addition, we’re debuting Garmin Mobile 20 — a slick little mount that turns a Bluetooth smartphone into a powerful GPS navigator.  Garmin Mobile 20 also lets you monitor real-time traffic information, gas prices, safety cameras, weather data, and other location-based services.  We’ve also announced a partnership with GPS Buddy, a logistical tracking and management service that helps manage fleet vehicles through existing Garmin GPS devices.  We’re also putting our new StreetPilot c500 series of navigators inside smart cars, those zippy, cute little cars you see across Europe.  And last but never least, we’re proud to announce new MapSource mapping data for Eastern Europe, delivered by NAVTEQ — solidifying Garmin as the best way to get virtually anywhere in Europe.
