Garmin honored at Strictly Sail Chicago Boat Show
Yesterday kicked off the start of the Strictly Sail Chicago Boat Show, the Midwest's premier sailing boat show, and show goes have been excited stop by SAIL Magazine's unique Innovation Station, which features the 2011 Pittman Award winning products – including Garmin's GHP 12 sailboat autopilot. Each year editors from SAIL select products that best showcase the year's greatest achievements in marine technology, and Garmin was honored to be chosen in the electronics category for this year's awards. On-hand to accept the award, we couldn't help but agree with the the SAIL editors who noted, "Garmin has packed some sweet features into its second-generation GHP 12 linear-drive autopilot and has optimized it for use on sailboats."
