Garmin Gives You Five Reasons to Attend Aero in Germany!
As promised yesterday, I am giving you five exciting reasons Friedrichshafen, Germany is the place to be today. The weather is just right, the scenery is beautiful and (most importantly!) there are a lot of airplanes! Aero 2014 kicked off today and we are very eager to show Europe what we have to offer!
1. G3X Touch – Need a smile today? We have a product for you! The first time I tried my hand at G3X Touch, I was left grinning ear-to-ear because of how easy and fun it was to use! I know, you might be asking “avionics” and “fun” in the same sentence – really Lucy? I promise, a few minutes in front of G3X Touch I might just catch you smiling!
2. VIRB – Need another reason to smile? This smile we can capture with our HD action camera, 
VIRB. Last week we announced several new accessories, which are tailored for use in aviation, including a new headset audio cable and prop filter. We also introduced two new bundles, the VIRB Elite for Aviation and Aviator Action Pack, which conveniently give pilots an all-in-one solution to get up and go flying with VIRB!
3. European FliteCharts – Pilots around the world now have access to European terminal charts, including instrument approach charts, SIDs, STARs, and airport diagrams. European FliteCharts are the most recent addition to our growing list of worldwide aviation chart products.
4. Garmin Pilot – A number of upgrades have been made to Garmin Pilot this year already and there’s no stopping us! Just this year, we’ve added synthetic vision and VIRB integration for iOS, traffic pattern recommendations and airspace frequency information for Android, and support for the GDL 39 3D for both operating systems.
