Garmin France sponsors arctic expedition

UntitledGrab your coat, bundle up, and follow amateur explorer Stéphane Guist’hau as he makes a 40-day trek above the polar circle and to the Barents Sea! With only his dog on one side, and his Garmin GPS units in hand, Stéphane gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, "grab your Garmin and get out!" During his expedition, he will be traveling more than 340 miles on land and frozen lakes and rivers – most of the time without any path to follow. With the help of his Garmin GPSMap 60CSx and his zumo 550, today marked day one of his journey. Stay tuned as our French counterparts will be adding trip news and updates on-line, as they come in. From everyone here in the States, we wish Stéphane the best of luck on this Garmin expedition of a lifetime!
