Garmin at Sun ‘n Fun Fly-In: Day 3 – VIRB Accessories for Pilots!
On Monday, Garmin announced new aviation-specific accessories for VIRB, the first true HD 1080p action camera. VIRB is unique in that it offers a 1.4-inch Chroma
color display, which makes video setup easy and ensures pilots capture the in-flight footage they desire. VIRB Elite offer up to three hours of HD video to be recorded in a single charge and features built-in GPS, WiFi, and ANT+ connectivity for added functionality with a variety of Garmin products.
The new VIRB Elite for Aviation Bundle offers pilots the accessories they need to takeoff and capture in-flight video with ease, at a great value! This bundle features a new headset audio cable, so pilot-to-pilot communications and air traffic control transmissions can be heard and embedded within the video. Also new to VIRB, a propeller filter reduces the distortion which is created while filming through a moving aircraft propeller. The prop filter conveniently screws on to the front of VIRB, allowing pilots to easily remove the filter when filming other activities.
