Garmin at ICAST 2013
If you weren't fortunate enough to attend ICAST in Las Vegas this year, there were a lot of great products featured at the Garmin booth. ICAST is the world's biggest sportfishing tradeshow and ran from July 10-12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year, we showcased our brand new 5" and 7" echoMAP and GPSMAP products, which garnered a lot of questions and interest from booth-goers.
Also on display, we had our GPSMAP 8000 Glass Helm Series. Even though this series tends to get more attention from the saltwater and coastal crowd, many attendees were impressed with the sleek design and user-friendliness of the devices.
We were fortunate enough to have some great, professional anglers stop by our booth over the duration of ICAST and conduct interviews, talk to media and answer any customer questions that attendees had. Thanks to Bill McDonald, Scott Martin, Bill Platt, Scott Turnage, Wade Middleton and Dion Hibdon for spending time in the booth and helping us to have a great showing.
All in all, we had a lot of positive interactions and feedback at ICAST this year. Thanks for everyone that came by and said hi, asked about the new products or told us their best Garmin stories. ICAST will be in Orlando next year, so we'll see you there! Happy Fishing!
