Garmin anglers compete at Bassmaster Classic with new Panoptix

It's Day 1 of the Bassmaster Classic on Lake Hartwell and Garmin pro anglers Jason Christie, Greg Hackney and Van Soles are competing for the big one at this year's Classic equipped Garmin electronics on board, including the new Panoptix All-Seeing Sonar

Panoptix is a revolutionary technology that gives anglers the ability to see all around their boat in real-time — forwards, backwards, sideways and down. With a Panoptix multi-beam transducer, anglers can cast a lure out and watch it as it's reeled back towards the boat right on the screen. They can see their bait in the water and watch how the fish respond to it right on the screen as it's happening, pinpointing their distance left or right, and their depth – and adjusting their technique accordingly.

Stop by the Garmin booth at the Bassmaster Classic Expo (booth #4013) or check out the video below to learn more about this "game changing" technology. And good luck to the Garmin anglers competing this weekend!
