Flying Aviation Expo: Parade of Planes!
The first day of the FLYING Aviation Expo has been busy and buzzing with excitement so far and we’re only getting started! The weather in Palm Springs is perfect, (sunny and 85 degrees!) which is ideal for a weekend fly-in!
The show kicked off yesterday with the “Parade of Planes,” where participating aircraft that have flown
into the Palm Sprigs International Airport, taxiied from the airport, down the city streets (which are closed of course!) to the Palm Springs Convention Center. They’re on static display until Sunday afternoon, where the parade is then reversed so aircraft can depart from the airport.
We’re thrilled so many pilots and aviation enthusiasts are out here today and through the weekend! Garmin will be taking part in several panels throughout the show that we encourage you to check out, including:
- Friday, October 31st:
- 3:00 – “Modern Avionics Upgrades for your Panel"
- Saturday, November 1st:
- 3:00 – Your NextGen Retrofit Project
Be sure to stop by the Garmin booth (#1121) and come with any and all of your Garmin questions. We’ll also be happy to show you our latest avionics and ADS-B products or simply swap a flying story or two!
