Fast lap earns McCumbee 2nd-place start

Tonight is a big night for #8 theGPSstore.com/ Garmin driver Chad McCumbee, who had his best qualifying effort of year with a fast lap of 184.018, for tonight’s Craftsman Truck Series event at the Texas Motor Speedway. For Chad, who has not had any top-five starts this season, and only three in the top-10, tonight’s second place start is a huge improvement for the team. "The guys on the team have been working as hard and they can possibly work and are finally getting some reward for it," Chad said. With just two events left in the season, we’re excited to see Chad gain this opportunity. The fun starts tonight at 8:30 p.m., with live SPEED coverage of the 9 p.m. race. Good luck, Chad!
