Cockpit Management Made Easy
With the seasons changing and winter on the way, you can pretty much expect lowering ceilings and IMC weather. That means a variety of approach charts, low enroute charts, and printed weather charts. This is normally a lot of clutter for the cockpit, but one thing that I think has really helped with cockpit management is electronic versions of charts on a Garmin Multi-Function display. Anything from the GMX 200 to the G1000 can really lower the work load by displaying either FliteChart or ChartVeiw approach charts. Electronic charts coupled with the weather displays makes navigating the seasonal conditions a lot less messy.
