Chicago Store: Triathlon week and more
Still buzzing from a successful half marathon expo, the Chicago Store is eagerly preparing for the Chicago Triathon this weekend, August 28-29. Located at the Hilton, the Triathlon Expo runs 3-9 p.m. on Friday and 9-5 p.m. on Saturday. Visit the Garmin booth for a 20% discount card good on all fitness accessories at the Chicago Store. Experts will also be on hand to demonstrate the ever fashionable Forerunner 310XT, the Garmin watch designed for multi-sport athletes.
On Saturday, stop by the store from 1-2 p.m. for an exclusive autograph session with Garmin-sponsored top U.S. female triathlete, Jenna Shoemaker. Arrive early to hear product experts review the latest in Garmin fitness devices from 12-1 p.m., followed by a pre-race message from Jenna at 1 p.m.
In addition, Garmin’s latest outdoor watch, the Foretrex 401, has found a home on the new arrival trolley. Stop by and view the lightweight, waterproof watch that records tracks, routes and waypoints that you can share wirelessly with similar devices.
