Chicago Store: Gifts For Dads and Grads
We had an excellent holiday weekend up here in Chicago, with a lot of traffic and a lot of interest in what GPS can do. One of our most popular products lately has been the nüvi 200 series. With its sleek lines, compact size, high-sensitivity SiRF receiver, and pedestrian mode (especially popular in downtown Chicago), the nüvi 200 is an excellent choice for someone looking for an entry level unit. And for the world traveler, the nüvi 270 is pre-loaded with the latest mapping for Europe. So remember, for those of you shopping for graduation gifts, or for Fathers Day (June 17th), keep the nüvi 200 series in mind– it makes an excellent gift.
For those of you who find yourself in Chicago on a Wednesday or Saturday night, follow your Garmin to Navy Pier for fireworks over the water throughout the summer.
As a reminder, we have Running Club every Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. Come by for a 3, 5, or 7-mile run, bagels, coffee and sport drinks, before and after. Myself and one of the store managers went to our local grocer earlier this week and bought literally cart loads of sport drinks, so come by Saturday morning and help us get rid of some of it!
