Chet’s Corner: xImage
Did you know that you can save screenshots of any Garmin USB-enabled GPS unit? A few of the units like the GPSMAP 276C and 376C allow you to upload pictures to be used as the splash screen on the unit. The software tool you need to achieve this is called xImage and is available for free download from our website. These files are saved as bitmaps, and can be used in web pages, blogs, and presentations.
