Chet’s Corner: Put Your Photos In Their Place
Did you know that now you can tag all those photos you took on your last hike with the location where they were taken? You want to know what’s even better? You can do it for free. The new Beta version of Picasa along with Google Earth will allow you to "Geotag" your photos with the location where they were taken. Then you can create web pages that show maps of all the places you traveled and the actual locations that the pictures were taken. It’s just one more reason for you to start organizing those gigabytes and gigabytes of digital photos you’ve got stored on your hard drive!
