Chet’s Corner: On the Road in NYC

Chet is LIVE from the Big Apple today.  By now you know the nüvi is the ultimate, jack-of-all-trades
GPS unit. But did you also know it can save you big bucks as you travel? Here
are a few examples of how the
nüvi helps you make every penny count.

Chet's CornerI have time for a quick post from NYC where I am attending a conference.  I brought my nüvi 350 and Garmin SaversGuide
card to make the trip a little smoother. After the conference, I was able to
take a Radio City Stage Door Tour. I then spent an evening at the Improv Comedy
. The best thing about this is the 20% I saved on tickets to both places.
Another great feature is the SiRF receiver. To avoid the traffic, I’ve
been using the nüvi’s pedestrian mode and the nüvi has given me a strong GPS fix — even at the base of all of the NYC skyscrapers.

Have any tips and tricks that you have found using your Garmin unit that you
think would be helpful to other users? Send us an email at
with your suggestion.
