Chet’s Corner: Juice Your Edge
Did you know that there is a way to extend the battery life of your Edge unit? For those of you out there that are exceeding the 12-hour battery life of the Edge 205 and 305 units, there is a solution. This was recently posted on the MotionBased Blog but I think it is worthy of a mention here as well. There is a device that is designed to charge the iPod Shuffle that will also charge an Edge 205/305 unit. The model number of this charger is BA-USB-W. Also, another option that just became available is made by APC called the APC Universal Battery. Either device can be found by using your favorite search engine.
