Chet’s Corner: Forerunner Clarification

featurechetscorner_1_4_2It seems that I posted last Thursday without really figuring out what the person was asking.  It seems the real root question was which unit, Forerunner 305 or Edge 305, would be best for someone who runs and bikes.  The answer to that question is contingent on personal opinion but the consensus says that the Forerunner 305 would be the best “Multi-Sport” unit.

While designed for running, it can easily be mounted on the bike handlebars when you ride and with works with both the Heart Rate Monitor and the Cadence Sensor.  Hopefully that’s cleared up now.  Sorry for the confusion.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the Garmin Store’s Grand Opening is this weekend and I will be in attendance.  I’ll be all over the city on Friday and at the store on Saturday.  That’s right, Chet…at the Garmin Store…in the flesh.  We’re even planning to get some Chet TV posts at the store, so make
sure you come prepared to share your best Garmin story.
If you’ve got a good story to share, you’ll have a chance
of being on a future episode of Chet TV. So if you’re in the area this weekend, stop by and check out our new store and say hi.
