Chet’s Corner: Edge Mount

Edgemount

Think Chet only knows about Garmin’s automotive products? Nope. He knows all.  Today’s trick is for those of you who prefer two wheels to four.

Today’s post has more of a troubleshooting feel to it.  If you purchased one of the new Edge 205 or 305 units, it obviously ships
with a mount to fasten it to your bicycle.  The mount is a two-piece,  bi-directional mount so that you can rotate it and attach it to
either the bike’s post or handlebars.  One thing to keep in mind with the mount though is that the zip ties that fasten the Edge need to be
looped through both pieces of the mount. If you don’t loop them through both pieces of the mount, there is a risk of the Edge falling off the bike
and being damaged.  These pictures should help explain my point a little better.
