Caddy Confidential: The British Are Coming! (Courses, that is)
Good news for golfers heading across the pond to play a few rounds in the U.K. Beginning today, if you’re playing the North American Approach G5, you’ll be able to upgrade your course map library with more than 1,200 British course maps to supplement your preloaded U.S. and Canadian courses.
Some notable courses included on the list are the British Open mainstays Inverness, Muirfield and Royal Lytham & St. Annes. With more than 1,200 courses listed, you’ll have plenty of tracks to choose from should you find yourself teeing up in the old country. And remember, those pot bunkers are hard to see, so we suggest using the zoom feature to see where they hide.
As our course offerings continue to grow, be sure to connect your G3 or G5 to myGarmin every so often to keep your course map library and software up-to-date. If there’s a course you’d like to see added to our list, drop a line, we’ll be glad to help. And be sure to follow @JakesJournal on Twitter for Approach info, announcements and all things Garmin. Till next time, keep hitting ’em straight and stay outta’ those pot bunkers!
