BlueChart Mobile Updates Mapping, Provides More Extensive Coverage and Data
Yesterday, BlueChart Mobile received an extensive update to
the mapping that the app utilizes. The
mapping, which already provides rich detail, expanded the content within the
coverage areas by showing numerous chart and notification updates for the
user. More areas will now show more
pivotal information than ever before.
This newest update also includes the newest updates made by
the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA. The NOAA updates over 14,000 charts that
cover the US alone and are updated on a daily basis. That information has been implemented into
this newest update.
In addition to expanded North American information, BCM has
also expanded to include the addition of German and French inland waters, along
with over 3,700 charts for the Mediterranean and various inland areas of
Europe.
To update this newest information, you will be given an
in-app notification that new mapping is available. Simply follow the prompts and this
information will be updated. Keep checking
