Team Garmin-Sharp‘s young rider, Andrew Talansky is no longerviewed as a rookie in the peloton–he is a threat for victory! Nicknamed, “Pit-Bull”, for his fierce competitiveness and drive to win, Talansky earned his way atop the podium today during the third stage of the Paris-Nice race in France. Nearing the end of the 171 km stage, Talansky broke away in a seven-rider escaping group and never let up as he crossed the finish line ahead of the pack. Talansky now wears the yellow jersey of the overall leader, and with the help of his Garmin teammates, will battle the pro field to keep it. Congratulations to Andrew and the whole team!
