Often times these customers discovered Garmin in one of our niche markets (like aviation or marine), and then purchased another Garmin device that’s suited to their other pursuits. This weekend I recruited several family members to participate in the 4th Annual Conquer The Coast bicycle event in Corpus Christi, Texas. My brother Jason, father Jack, brother-in-law David and my cousin Tanner participated with me in a 25-mile route. I write you today because all of us were Garmin-equipped on this ride. I used an Edge 305HR, my brother and brother-in-law used a ForeRunner 305, my Dad used an Edge 205 and my cousin Tanner used an eTrex Legend. Needless to say, I’ve got them hooked on Garmin! My brother wore a Garmin jersey and was captured as he crossed the finish line at the end of the ride. We all uploaded our rides to Motionbased.com where we were able to compare notes. I’ve made it a mission to get my family cycling to better health. This weekend was a proud moment for me and I chronicle my cycling adventures on my personal blog. I’ll be posting an update on the ride soon but wanted to get the word out to you that you have several very happy customers that are carrying the Garmin banner to cycling events around this big state of Texas! I’m also thrilled about the upcoming release of the Edge 705.
