AERO Friedrichshafen 2017: Sneak Preview
The 25th edition of AERO Friedrichshafen kicks off Wednesday, April 5, in Friedrichshafen, Germany, an event that has established itself as one of the world’s most popular assemblies of general aviation.
You can find us at AERO on “Avionics Avenue” in Hall A6 with everything from our fashionable pilot watches, D2 Bravo and D2 Bravo Titanium, through our latest retrofit avionics including the G5 electronic flight instrument, GTN 750/650 series touchscreen navigators, G3X Touch flight displays for experimental aircraft, G1000 NXi and more. We’ll also be highlighting our 8.33 kHz spacing compliant radios, including the GTR 225 Comm radio featuring special promotional pricing through June 30, 2017. Flight Stream 510 featuring Database Concierge – wirelessly update your databases.
Flight Stream 510, the latest addition to our Connext portfolio of cockpit connectivity solutions, will also be on display at the event. Flight Stream 510 features Database Concierge, a function allowing users to update GTN and G500/G600 series databases wirelessly via Garmin Pilot. Additionally, it streams weather and traffic data to Garmin Pilot, transfers flight plans wirelessly, and much more. We’ll be showing off our popular G5 electronic flight instrument for both experimental and certificated aircraft. Earlier this year, EASA approved G5 for installation in hundreds of certificated aircraft models – opening the door for an easy, cost-effective replacement to vacuum-driven attitude indicators and turn coordinators.
We’re introducing a new training opportunity at AERO this year for our GTN 750/650 series touchscreen navigators – providing hands-on, scenario-based training for those looking to learn about the versatile product line.
