Adopt A Cache From OpenCaching.com and Garmin
A few weeks ago we announced our partnership with the Teva Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado, June 3-5 as the official GPS sponsor. At the conclusion of our geocaching event we had planned on bringing home all of our hidden caches. That was until we thought it would be an awesome idea to leave some of the caches behind for you to adopt. We are also going to give the new cache owners a limited edition GPSMAP 62 Geocoin and a Teva Mountain Games pathtag.
For those of you thinking about jumping at this oportunity, please remember this will become your cache, so take pride in it. You will need to come back often to clear trash, view the logbook and make sure everything is where it should be. Cache owners should also check the logs online regularly to check for any issues people have and make adjustments accordingly.
