The fourth and midpoint stop on the Red Bull Air Race tour has arrived in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. The 14 Master Class race pilots will vie for the fasted time through a pylon course over the Danube River.

Pete McLeod of Canada performs during a free practice at the fourth stage of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in Budapest, Hungary on June 30, 2017.

Garmin pro Pete McLeod, pilot of the black-and-white race #84 Zivko Edge 540, currently sits at fifth in the World Championship standings. After a strong start to the season securing nine points with a third place podium finish in Abu Dhabi, McLeod captured one point and four points in San Diego and Chiba respectively. With new modifications earlier in the season including redesigned winglets, the G3X Touch-equipped race plane is primed for the track.

Open practice sessions have taken place throughout the week as pilots familiarize themselves with the course. Qualifying begins Saturday, July 1, with the final head-to-head rounds happening Sunday July 2.
