Garmin Wins 2014 Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice® Award
We are pleased to announce that Garmin has been selected as a winner of the third annual Travelers’ Choice® award, presented by TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site. Garmin has won in the category for best GPS device in the US, Canada, and Brazil.
Surveys were conducted among more than 30,000 U.S. TripAdvisor travelers, who picked their travel essentials in 46 different categories ranging from airline to headphones to carry-on luggage.
“The TripAdvisor community has spoken and Garmin was selected as a Travelers’ Choice Favorite for 2014,” said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor. “Travelers around the world can’t go wrong with these travel picks from our savvy community.”
Earlier this year, we announced our Essential Series nüvi models and the nüvi 2798LMT car GPS with backup camera. The Essential Series offers affordable standalone navigation with spoken turn-by-turn directions and features bright 5- and 6-inch dual-orientation displays. The nüvi 2798LMT is a 7-inch navigation device with a wireless backup camera.
