Designed with aviators in mind, D2 offers Garmin’s signature
direct-to and nearest navigation functions, an adjustable altimeter, the option to display
both local and Zulu/UTC time, and the ability to integrate with Garmin Pilot

VIRB, and more!
Similar to the capability found in our portable avionics, D2
offers aviators the chance to customize the display by assigning data fields
such as, GPS ground speed, GPS track, distance, estimated time enroute,
bearing, glide ratio, and more! Even further, pilots can easily find the
nearest airport or perform a direct-to function, with the press of a button.
Enrich your flying experience by integrating D2 with Garmin
Pilot. Compatible with select tablets,
conveniently create waypoints and build flight plans within Garmin Pilot and
wirelessly transfer them to your D2! Remotely control Garmin’s HD action
camera, VIRB with D2. Start and stop video on VIRB, view elapsed time for
active video recording, and capture high quality still videos, all from D2.
Pilots have the opportunity to mount VIRB anywhere in the aircraft for
excellent photos and video!
